Safeguarding and Support
Safeguarding is a commitment to create a safe environment for Chosen Hill students to succeed, by:
-
Ensuring robust safeguarding policies, practices and procedures are in place.
-
Ensuring the safer recruitment of employees in the school.
-
Ensuring that adults who work in the school, including volunteers, don't pose a risk to students.
-
Making sure staff are trained, know how to respond to concerns and are kept-up-to-date with current policies and best practice.
-
Teaching our students about staying safe.
-
Creating a culture where students feel confident to approach any member of staff if they have a worry or problem.
